A special service will be held in the Cathedral to celebrate all those who work with children, young people and families in our churches, and everyone is invited! The service will be led by Bishop Hugh and will take place on Sunday 18 October at 3pm in Worcester Cathedral 📅“There is so much to celebrate!” says Programme Lead Sian Morgan. “Across our diocese, in parishes, schools and communities, people are creating places where children and young people can belong, encounter God, explore faith and flourish. We want to shine a light on this important ministry and give thanks for where and how God is already working through his faithful servants!”As part of the celebration, we will commission and pray for our employed Children, Youth and Families team, recognising the vital ministry they offer within their churches and communities and our shared commitment to supporting and encouraging them in their work. We shall also formally commission Sian Morgan, our new Programme Lead for Children, Young People and Families, marking an exciting new chapter as we strengthen our diocesan commitment to children, young people and families and seek to equip, encourage and connect those involved in this vital ministry. This celebration is for the whole diocesan family. Whether you are a member of clergy, a church leader, volunteer, PCC member or someone who longs to see children and young people flourish within the life of our diocese, you are warmly invited to come along. Please share this post with anyone you think might like to come and celebrate those who work with children, young people and families ⭐ ... Happy#pershoreplumfestival Sunday everyone!

Now, whilst our super-organised Abbey Team can control most things, we have definitely never managed to conquer the weather! 😂 ☀️ ☔.🫣

So, if it is dry then our Teddy Praise will proceed as planned in the bandstand. If it is raining heavily this afternoon then please check our Facebook page as we may have to relocate into Pershore Abbey.

Whatever the weather, we hope you all have a super Sunday 🫶🏼
