Pershore Benefice Remembrance Services

The following services will be taking place across the Benefice to remember and honour the lives of those who have fallen in conflict:

St James’, Birlingham  -  1045  -  Monday 11 November

 


Friends of Pershore Abbey Memorial Lecture

On Thursday 17 October it will be The Friends of Pershore Abbey's Memorial Lecture - with Matthew Martin, Precentor and Director of Music at Gonville and Caius College Cambridge.

Tickets are £12 (students free) and will be available on the door.

Musical Evening at St James', Birlingham

Why not enjoy an evening of music at St James' Church, Birlingham at 1900 on Friday 18 October .

Featuring Sesto, a newly formed classical choir, several flute and clarinet pieces, plus contributions by villagers of all ages with a variety of instruments and musical styles.

Tickets £5

Includes a glass of wine or a soft drink, and nibbles. Payable on the door by cash or card.

Proceeds to St James’ Church.


Church of England National Online Service

The Abbey is delighted to have been asked to produce a service for the Church of England’s digital platforms. We will be recording the service at 1400 on 23 October in the Abbey and we need a congregation! Please do come along if you'd like to add your voice to the worship.
