Sunday worship

8am Eucharist

Early worship on a Sunday morning is a peaceful time to be with God. The service is said and on the first Sunday of the month the liturgy is from the Book of Common Prayer.

10:30am Sung Eucharist

The later Sunday morning worship includes the whole family of the church. The bells are rung to call all who hear them to worship. The choir bring heavenly voices to sing God's praises. The children are welcome either to stay with their families or to join the Junior Church in St Andrew's for their event, re-joining the service to receive a blessing.

Iona style worship

This takes place on the last Wednesday of the month (except August & December) at 7:45pm lasting for approx. 45 minutes.

The Iona Community is an ecumenical community seeking new ways of living the Gospel in the world. Its members are scattered, committed in their daily lives to promoting ecumenical understanding, peace, justice and the integrity of creation through prayer and political action.

Pilgrimages to the Isle of Iona from Pershore as guests of the Iona Community have inspired a love of worship as experienced in Iona Abbey Church.

Our Iona worship reflects the concerns and committment of the Iona Community. It combines prayers in the Celtic tradition with song, readings, symbolic action and reflection. We share and learn from each other.

You do not need to have been to Iona to enjoy and be spiritually enriched by this worship. It also encourages and nurtures a personal development of faith and discipleship.
