The Farncombe Lectures
Each year a lecture, named
after the founder of the Friends, is organised. The Farncombe Lecture
has, since its instigation, taken the style of an erudite address by a
person nationally recognised as an authority in his or her own right.
The
2008 Farncombe Lecture will be given by Dr Stuart Burgess,
the Rural Advocate, in Pershore Abbey on Thursday 25th September,
and is titled "What Future Rural Communities".
Reception 6.30pm - Lecture 7.30 pm - Debate 8.40pm - Tickets
